Core Features Free: FinP4l is committed to keeping core financial modeling features free for all users. Financial clarity should not be a privilege limited to those who can afford expensive advisory services.
Privacy-First: The plan you build is stored in your browser, under your control. Optional features that send data to our servers or service providers (AI drafting, bank linking, feedback) are described in the Privacy Policy.
Service Description
What FinP4l Provides
FinP4l is a client-side financial modeling application that helps you:
- Create financial projections and retirement modeling scenarios
- Track expenses, assets, liabilities, and income sources
- Visualize your financial data through charts and reports
- Export and manage your financial information
Privacy & Data Handling
Privacy-First Architecture
Local Data Storage: The plan you build is stored in your browser. Optional features that send data to our servers or service providers (AI drafting, bank linking, feedback) are described in the Privacy Policy.
Client-Side Processing: Projections, calculations and analysis run in your browser.
Bank Connectivity: Bank account connections are facilitated through Plaid Inc., a trusted third-party financial data aggregation service. We use read-only access and never see your banking credentials.
Data Control: You maintain complete control over your data and can export, disconnect, or delete all information at any time through the application settings.
User Responsibilities
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser. Since data is stored locally, anyone with access to your device may be able to view your financial information if your device is not secured.
Accurate Information
While bank data is automatically imported, you are responsible for ensuring that any manually entered information (goals, assumptions, scenarios) is accurate for your modeling purposes.
Appropriate Use
Use FinP4l only for legitimate personal financial modeling purposes. Do not attempt to circumvent security measures or use the service for any illegal activities.

Service Availability
We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
Data Accuracy
While we work to ensure accurate calculations and data handling, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information or projections. Users should verify important information independently.
